The Daintree Ecolodge has 15 eco-friendly bayans (treehouses) immersed in the rainforest canopy. Each bayan offers an enclosed balcony with a bathtub overlooking the private lagoon or creek. Guests sleep with the windows open to the sounds of the forest protected by insect screens.

Dining

The on-site Julaymba Restaurant serves seasonal, locally-sourced gourmet meals overlooking the lagoon. A private six-course dining experience is set on a pontoon in the middle of the lagoon. The menu changes daily and uses indigenous ingredients like kangaroo tartare.

Wellness & Spa

The Daintree Wellness Spa offers tailored treatments including massage and facials using native scents. Yoga Nidra meditation sessions are held for relaxation and wellbeing. Guests have access to a pristine onsite waterfall and a swimming pool.

Location & Activities

The lodge is close to UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, and Cape Tribulation. Private guided tours are available for rainforest walks, river cruises, and ATV adventures. Exceptional birdwatching opportunities exist with endemic species on the property.

Indigenous cultural experiences include art classes led by local guides. The lodge emphasizes sustainability and eco-tourism practices, with only 30 guests to minimize impact. Guests can walk to the sacred private waterfall on the property.
